What It Is
The Holiday Hop Artisan Market is a curated market hosted by The Gathering Gallery in partnership with the Moline Club. It provides local artisans an opportunity to sell their wares during downtown Moline's annual Holiday Hop celebration. It also gives visitors a chance to meet and support the local artist community while checking off items on their Christmas shopping list.

Eligibility / What We're Looking For

Open to local and regional artisans selling original designs or their own skilled handmade fine crafts.

Please provide a range of price points, with a portion of your inventory priced $50 and under, so shoppers have gift-friendly options at every booth — alongside any higher-end pieces you'd like to show and sell

No mass-produced items, resale goods, MLM/direct-sale products, or use of others' copyrighted designs

Replicated images of your own design/ art art acceptable for sale (such as prints, stickers, tshirts, cards, etc.)

No food or beverage vendors

All vendors must comply with Illinois Department of Revenue (IDOR) sales tax collection and payment requirements. More information and forms will be provided to accepted vendors who do not currently have an Illinois registration number. It is each vendor's responsibility to comply, and The Gathering Gallery will be providing vendor information to IDOR as required by the State of Illinois— see https://tax.illinois.gov/individuals/fairs.html for details."
Fees & What's Included

Artisan entry fee: $40 — 8'x8' indoor space

Optional power access: +$5

Booths may be shared with one other vendor — each artisan sharing a space must submit their own application and be juried individually. Please note this in your application.

Full payment required for booth, no partial payment for spaces.

Held in tandem with Moline's Holiday Hop, marketed by the Moline Centre and The Gathering Gallery

Vendors will be listed on The Gatheing Gallery's event webpage, and social media.

Fri, Nov 20: Vendor set-up 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Open to the public 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

Sat, Nov 21: Vendor access 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM | Open to the public 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Sat, Nov 21: Vendor clear-out by 6:00 PM.

The market opens at 10:00 AM Saturday — two hours before Holiday Hop's noon start — and runs through Holiday Hop's 4:00 PM close. All vendors are expected to be present and set up for the full duration.

Booth location, load-in/load-out instructions, and parking details will be provided to confirmed artisans closer to the event date.

Provide a brief artist statement, bio, or description that gives visitors insight into your work and what you'll be selling (150 words max).

Submit 3 images that represent a range of price points you'll be offering, each with a short caption noting the item's description and price (for jurying purposes).

By submitting your application, you give permission for your images and description above to be used for advertising and marketing purposes for the Holiday Hop Artisan Market, The Gathering Gallery, Moline Club, Moline Centre, and the City of Moline, in print and online.
